Although the Le Francais features a modern knife design, its roots go back to the 17th century. Even then, French farm workers used a similar-looking knife. The Le Francais is locked by a reliable liner lock that you can easily unlock. The knife can be opened effortlessly with both hands via the nail hammer. The tapered blade is great for precise work, while the factory-finished edge on buffalo roughened leather has an impressive sharpness. The Sandvik 19C27 steel used is rust resistant and therefore harmless when handling food.
